Made from fresh spring buds picked in 2022, the No. 1 Raw Pu-erh has a clean, plant-like aroma and the bright, lively taste of a young raw tea.

Still early in its ageing journey, it holds natural tea compounds like polyphenols and caffeine, giving a gentle bitterness that feels fresh rather than harsh. A well-made raw Pu-erh like this quickly softens into a smooth, refreshing sweetness that leaves the mouth clean and balanced.

Use 5-10g of tea and a 100-150ml gaiwan or small teapot.

Water temperature should be at ~95°C.

Rinse the leaves once before the first infusion.
5-10s for the first steep, a few seconds longer for each subsequent steep.
