Description

“Qiankun” in Chinese means heaven and earth, sun and moon. This tea takes its name from that idea: a small cup that can hold many different flavours. It is made to be easy to drink, steady and reliable, with a taste that slowly unfolds over each infusion.

This ripe Pu-erh cake is made from high-mountain, ecological organic tea leaves from Xishuangbanna, neatly pressed with medium tightness, so it is easy to break and also suitable for further ageing. The dry leaves are chestnut-red with a slight sheen.

When brewed, the tea liquor is a deep, bright red with a full, enveloping aroma. The taste is mellow, smooth and gently sweet, without harsh bitterness. The flavour is rounded with a comforting texture that reflects careful ageing and storage.

Brewing Guide

Use 5-10g of tea and a 100-150ml gaiwan or small teapot.

Water temperature should be at ~100°C.

Rinse the leaves once before the first infusion.
5-10s for the first steep, a few seconds longer for each subsequent steep.

Storage

Pu-erh is alive and continues to evolve over time. Store your tea in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated space, away from direct sunlight and strong odours. Avoid sealed containers—Pu-erh benefits from gentle airflow. Over the years, its flavour will deepen and mature naturally, rewarding patience and proper care.
